Apparently, Fred Thompson has officially dropped out of the race. Pictured above with his much-much-much-younger wife, apparently running for president interfered with his nap schedule.
So what does this mean? Where will Thompson's whopping 8 delegates go? That remains to be seen, but it's likely that his support among conservatives, particularly religious conservatives, should benefit Huckabee. It's a bad time to be a squirrel, in other words.

This from the man who refused, for a ridiculous amount of time, to say he wanted to be president. And then campaigned when he felt like it. And every political cartoon he was pictured in involved zzz's.
So if the country goes crazy and elects Huckabee, will squirrel be served in the White House? Something about linen and silver doesn't quite sit well with squirrel, but then again, what does...
Pshh. Huckabee will catch the squirrels himself and fry them up in the oval office. No need for that silver and linen and stuff.
